Favorite COVERGIRL Products

Why hello there!

This is just going to be a quick post of my top three favorite COVERGIRL products and why I like them. Please feel free to comment and tell me which products are your favorites as well. Okay, let's get started!

#3) LashBlast Fusion Mascara (#805 Black Brown)
This is, by far, the best mascara I've ever used, and I've tried A LOT of mascaras. It took a very long time for me to discover LashBlast Fusion. A long time ago, this girl I used to be friends with told me to never buy mascara that both lengthens and gives volume to your lashes. She said that you should always buy two different mascaras (one for length and one for volume) and use them both on your lashes. I can't really remember why I thought that was such wonderful advice at the time, but I believed her, and that's what I did. Needless to say, it didn't work out well for me. My lashes never looked good. They were always really clumpy and looked like tarantula legs. Then one day I opened up my mom's makeup cabinet and saw her LashBlast Fusion. I hesitantly put some on my lashes, and couldn't believe it. They looked amazing! And since then, I've never looked back.

#2) CG Smoothers Concealer stick (#705 Fair)
If I were to recommend one product that every woman should never leave the house without, it would be this. Concealer sticks are the most useful, versatile little products. You can use them for covering up red spots and those dark circles under your eyes that make you look like a raccoon. I even use mine as a primer on my eyelids before I put eyeshadow on. All you do is put some concealer on your finger, rub it all over your eyelid, and ta-da! You've got a base for your eye makeup. I also like the concealer stick in particular because it offers the perfect amount of coverage without making your makeup look caked-on and weird. I'm not a fan of liquid concealer at all for this very reason. I feel like it's super-thick and does not blend well with the foundation, even if it's liquid foundation. So, take-home message: Buy a concealer stick. Keep it with you at all times.

#1) Advanced Radiance Age-Defying Liquid Makeup (#105 Ivory)
Word cannot accurately express how much I love this foundation, but I promise I will do my best. This is another product I discovered on accident, courtesy of my mother. I was home from college for the weekend, and I was getting ready to go out with my friends for the day when I realized that I had left all of my makeup at school. Frantic, I raided my mom's makeup cabinet and saw the age-defying liquid foundation. Since it was the only foundation there, I grabbed it and just started putting it on. When I was done, I just kind of stared at the mirror for a few minutes. I couldn't believe how perfect the makeup looked on my skin. Even though it is a silicone-based foundation, I was still able to apply just using my fingers without it looking streaky or thick. It covered up the red spots so well that I didn't even have to use a concealer stick. It evened out my skin tone perfectly. I was completely and utterly amazed. Now when I'm home, even if I have my own makeup with me, I always ask my mom if I can borrow her foundation. I should really invest in my own bottle.
